Join Our Team
At My Outlet, we employ a strength-based approach and a positive mindset to change the narrative around neurodiversity with a mission to achieve better outcomes for society.
Facilitator
Be part of our kids program delivery team as a facilitator — leverage your lived experience, passions, curiosity and empathy to make an impact on another child's journey. Our programming is designed around targeted themes and skill-building objectives, delivered through fun, play-based learning. You’ll guide program participants through hands-on activities while fostering a safe, inclusive environment for social and emotional growth.
Social Worker (MSW)
Join our team as a Social Worker and play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of children and families within our programs. You’ll bring your clinical knowledge, lived experience, and relational skills to help create safe, inclusive spaces where participants can grow socially, emotionally, and practically.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in child and family social work, a natural ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life, and a talent for building and nurturing meaningful relationships. You are confident and assertive when needed, grounded in humility, and driven by curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and grow alongside the families we serve.
Cameo Guest – My Outlet Year-Round Programs
Have a special skill, passion, or creative talent you love to share with kids? As a cameo guest, you’ll lead a 45-minute activity block that introduces campers to something new and exciting — from art and music to science, sports, or storytelling.
We’ll collaborate with you to shape the activity, and you’ll be supported by 2–4 facilitators during the session so you can focus on engaging the group. Cameos run during Sunday afternoon programs at Earl Bales Community Centre and are scheduled based on your availability.
Mentor – My Outlet Mentorship Program
Our mentorship program returns this fall! We’re building a new cohort of mentors and mentees who will meet regularly (weekly or biweekly) to provide guidance, support, and community connection.
This isn’t just about conversation — mentors will actively support mentees as they step into volunteer or employment roles, helping bridge the gap between learning and real-world experience.
More details coming soon as the program evolves!
